Wholesale, Lab-Grown

Wholesale Tapered Baguette Diamonds
Natural and lab-grown are two separate lines here, never mixed on one certificate or one price list.
A tapered baguette is a step cut that narrows from one end to the other instead of running a uniform width like a straight baguette. That taper is what lets it hug the shoulder of a ring and follow the line down toward the shank, which is why it is the default side stone for a three stone or tapered-shoulder setting.
We have eleven tapered baguettes in stock, all lab-grown. Four of them are complete matched pairs, every stone E color and VS1 clarity, so the color and clarity match across a pair is already done before you ever ask. Individual stones run 0.25 ct to 0.48 ct, long edge 5.50 mm to 7.00 mm, width 3.00 mm to 3.50 mm, depth 1.80 mm to 2.50 mm, which puts a finished pair somewhere around half a carat to just under a carat total. Alongside the pairs there is one more E, VS1 pair stone whose mate is not currently on the public floor, a 0.48 ct E, VS1 single, and a 2.00 ct fancy blue VS2 with an IGI report.
Calibrated means cut to a fixed set of millimeter dimensions rather than to a carat target, and that is how tapered baguettes are actually bought in the trade. A jeweler names a length and width to fill a specific gap next to a center stone; the carat weight that results is a byproduct of the size, not the starting point.

Send us the center stone's measurements and the mounting style before you ask about tapered baguettes. The taper has to match the angle the shoulder takes down from the center, so we are matching two shapes to each other, not just picking a size off a list.
The matched pairs in stock carry no lab report. That is normal for side stones in this size range and not a shortcut on our end: pairs this small are bought and sold on measurement and visual match, not on paper, because a report costs more than most jobs can absorb on a stone of a quarter to half a carat. Color and clarity are still verified, E and VS1 across the board, and the 2.00 ct fancy blue single is IGI certified since a stone at that size and color calls for a report.
A matched pair is priced as a pair, not as two singles added together, because the match on outline, taper angle, and color is part of what you are paying for. Our pairs are separable if you genuinely need one side, though it is worth saying that breaking a pair leaves the other half much harder to place, so it is usually the more expensive way to buy.
Tell us the taper angle you need if the setting is unusual. Most tapered baguette pairs are cut to a standard range of tapers, but a custom shoulder line can call for a steeper or gentler taper than what happens to be sitting in stock, and that is a sourcing conversation, not a browse-and-buy one.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many tapered baguette diamonds do you have in stock?
Eleven, all lab-grown. Four are complete matched pairs, all E color and VS1 clarity, plus one further pair stone whose mate is not currently on the public floor, a 0.48 ct E, VS1 single, and a 2.00 ct fancy blue VS2 stone with an IGI report.
Why don’t your tapered baguette pairs have a lab report?
Because side stones in this size range, 0.25 ct to 0.48 ct a stone, are bought on measurement and visual match rather than on paper across the trade. It is normal, expected practice at this size, not a gap in our stock. Color and clarity are still confirmed as E, VS1 on every pair.
How do you match a tapered baguette pair to a center stone?
Send us the center stone's length, width, and mounting style. We match the pair's taper angle and long edge to the line the shoulder needs to follow, then confirm the pair's own color and clarity match against each other before it ships.
What sizes do your matched tapered baguette pairs come in?
Measured per stone, the pairs in stock run 0.25 ct to 0.48 ct, long edge 5.50 mm to 7.00 mm, width 3.00 mm to 3.50 mm, and depth 1.80 mm to 2.50 mm. A finished pair therefore lands around half a carat to just under a carat total. Check the inventory link for what is available today.
Do you carry natural tapered baguette diamonds?
Not currently. Our tapered baguette stock, pairs and singles both, is lab-grown. Ask us directly if a client needs natural and we will tell you what is realistic to source.
